A compelling documentary, Cargo: Innocence Lost, unveils the dark underworld of sex trafficking through compelling interviews with some of the country’s top officials on the subject, victims’ advocates and victims themselves. Award-winning director and writer, Michael Cory Davis (Svetlana’s Journey, Hollywood Film Festival 2005 winner, best short), makes his second directorial foray into this must-see, thought-provoking film. Cargo: Innocence Lost was created to inform individuals on the full scope of the crime of sex trafficking—from where it’s happening, to why, and what’s being done to stop it. The film also provides visually accurate portrayals of the captivity period endured by a victim of sex trafficking. The film serves as a great tool to quickly reference certain aspects of the crime. Cargo can be played in its entirety or used as a visual reference to aid in any presentation. In the chapter section of the DVD menu the film is broken down into sections. The narrative and educational are separated as well for this purpose. Chapter 1 What Is Sex Trafficking?
